New York Subliners (8.1)
Oh, what could have been for this New York franchise if not for the departure of James “Clayster” Eubanks. Clayster stepped down from the team prior to Stage five for unspecified reasons. He later returned just before the playoffs. New York looked like a team unprepared to challenge top opposition during the playoffs. It’s unfortunate because they looked like a genuine top team early on in the season. In fact, my midseason pick for MVP was Clayster.
After Paco “HyDra“ Rusiewiez joined the roster, this team looked destined for success. Although they finished in a commendable spot, it’s easy to wonder what could have been for this roster. One thing is for sure, next year’s plans must be centered around HyDra who looked incredibly comfortable in his debut season.
