Toronto Ultra (9.3)
At times they seemed the only response to Atlanta FaZe’s dominance. Each player on this roster as well as the coaching staff has every right to keep their heads held high after this incredibly successful campaign. Many questioned the decision to bench Anthony “Methodz” Zinni early on in the season. Yet, Ultra did not let the outside noise alter their focus. Instead, the inclusion of Jamie “Insight” Craven was nothing short of miraculous. The rookie brought cohesiveness to the team’s play in-game as well as chemistry outside of it. As a unit, each player deserves praise.
Tobi “CleanX” Jønsson had his fair share of clutch Search & Destroy moments. Benjamin “Bance” Bance is perhaps the most improved player of the 2021 season. Finally, Cammy “Cammy” McKilligan enjoyed an MVP caliber year. He was an absolute pillar of constancy throughout the season. This all-European roster won the Stage 2 Major and finished second at both Major 5 and Champs. Let’s not forget Mark “MarkyB” Bryceland’s exceptional contribution as Toronto’s coach.
