Many gamers are thinking there is some sort of Tekken 8 early release date happening due to a mistake.
Although Bandai Namco’s big title is set for the 26th of January, some outlets are showing it sooner.
Let’s take a look at what is causing the confusion.
Missleading Tekken 8 Early Release Date
Tekken 8 is being released on all platforms on January 26th. There are no ifs and no buts; it just is. Even Bandai themselves have had to come out to confirm this news.
But many gamers are under the impression that the game is coming out sooner, thanks to @BuffGigas. He is a great Tekken content creator, by the way. Please check out his stuff.
In his Twitter post (we know its X, but come on now), he shows a store poster for Tekken 8, which displays a release date of January 21st for the PS5. But this is a whole 5 days before the official release date confirmed by Bandai!
Also adding to the chaos are conflicting release date figures, with Steam saying the 25th and Amazon in some regions saying the 24th.
However, after reaching out to Bandai Namco, it was confirmed that the official release date remains the same across all platforms. Players may have been swayed after the demo released earlier on PS5 to believe it was also coming out earlier on there as well.
Also, the Steam date of April 25th is just an issue due to timezone differences. Meaning it says 25th for me, but in reality we are talking bang on midnight.

Although some are disappointed that it did not come out earlier, many gamers are satisfied with the demo currently available for all platforms. Many gamers are enjoying the Ghost CPU versus modes. These put their skills to the test, as well as the first story mission.

And for those playing cracked Tekken Betas, please don’t. Because Harada will get very mad and kill our mains or something. We are not sure what he will do, but boy, he will be angry. Most likely, he will just buff Feng again.
