After two years of practice, here is the Tekken 8 Electric Guide for beginners.
Bandai Namco’s Iron Fist series is known for this one hard-to-master move.
But with this handy guide I will get you pulling off at least one per match!
Tekken 8 Electric Style
Firstly, understand that Tekken 8 electric moves are very difficult to pull off. They are hard to hit right during practice and double so mid-match.

These moves are literally known for being difficult to pull off and are praised when done so. Although these are not the hardest moves, as Lee’s just frames are tricky.
However, these moves can only be done by Heihachi, Kazuya, Jin, Devil and Reina. The ones they all have are Forward, Neutral, Down, Right + Just Frame 1/2. A just frame move is where we need to push the final command and button on the same frame.

A Tekken 8 electric move done right will show off flashy sparks. Also, it may include dialogue quotes like Kazuya’s “Dorya”. This game did make it more obvious with meatier sounds and sparks. But each of these moves on each character has different effects on electric or not.

Kazuya’s Wind God Fist is -10 on block when done normally. However, when the electric is pulled off, it is plus one block, leaving us less open. Also, it can extend combos even more than the normal version and does more damage.
It is arguably the best move in the game; it’s just tricky to pull off.
Firstly, for those wondering what the star means, it means resetting the stick to neutral. Imagine if you were using an arcade stick (you might be), and after pressing forward, you let the stick set back to the middle. This is resetting to neutral and can be done on the gamepad, keyboard and stick.
Honestly, from my side, I have had an easier time doing this with a keyboard and stick due to the buttons. It is doable on a pad, but it does take some practice.
Practice Practice
To pull off the Tekken 8 Electric, you must first practise the normal one. Firstly, boot up practice mode with your preferred Mishmash. Secondly, input the movement for a wave dash with F, N, and DN. Your fighter should be lurching forward with the sound of the wind when you do this.

This is a wavedash and is needed to pull off the electric and normal ones. Once you get comfortable wavedashing, we can begin EWGF and add our punches at the end. However, keep in mind the normal version is pretty handy on its own and can be delayed.
Overall you should be comfortable performing the normal variant before going for electrics. Now that you understand that 2 is just pressed slightly before you input Down Forward. Perfect Electrics are done with just the down-forward just frame. 2. DF+2 is the key part of all of this. Bring up the command history to see what is going wrong.

With Jin, for example, if I am too quick, I perform the low sweep. Whereas if I am too slow, I perform the Electric God Hook. Do not rush the input; be slow and smooth, as you do not need to be super fast.
On Pad reconfigure the punches to your triggers if it’s easier to pull off muscle memory. But on pad and keyboard this should be easier; just hit the keys at the same time!
Although Tekken 8 electric moves are very impressive and cool, they are not necessary to win rounds. But it will improve combo damage and look badass mid-game.
Just keep practising and also try to pull it off mid-match, as this is vital for memory.
