The other ogre has been revealed as we are getting Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma DLC!
Bandai Namco have revealed the final fighter for Season 3 DLC.
But who is this muscle-bound freak and why does his back spell demon?
Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma Reveal
It’s not AI there really is going to be Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma DLC! The reveal trailer from Bandai shows off the Mighty One as the 4th and final fighter drop for season 3.
Also, along with him is a new stage drop. Subsea lock down us a new map set in a high security underwater prison. Although there are the odd sections in Baki set in prison I do not recall any under the sea.
Yujiro is set to release in the Winter period or as their X account states early 2027. Both fans and tourists are frothing at the mouth with his big units reveal!
Although we have no game play and just Manga AMV edits showing the freakshow how off. However, as an avid enjoyer of Baki Grappler and parts of Baki Dou this is still exciting.
Also, I should mention this is not the first guest appearance of Yujiro Hanma or Baki in general. Recently the titular Baki was dropped in two strike and Yujiro has been in. Firstly, he was in Garouden Breakblow as a broken secret character. Secondly that is all to my knowledge however you can play him in Mugen if you want!
Although he is the (at the start at least) villain of Baki this makes sense giving Tekken’s preference. Unless it’s a Final Fantasy back-alley deal Tekken prefers villains with Geese Howard and Negan coming to mind.
The last update was great and this Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma DLC is almost pulling me back in! But again, no gameplay no hype for me they could make him a broken rock paper scissor stance character.
Great Choice
Although I have been negativing with Tekken 8 recently this is a great pick for the final character. Also keep in mind that data miners were speculating that a character named Kirito was going to be the guest. This meant either the cool Rival Schools guy or Sword Art Online Kirito.
I am going to be honest if it was SAO Kirito I was going to request a refund! Mr Hanma fits Tekken like a glove and a perfect choice for the series. They already tried channelling Baki designs with Fakuram looking like Jack Hanma. Also, Yujiro himself loves beating his children and commits acts similar to Marduke.
If you know what I am talking about congrats you actually read Baki. Although I enjoy Baki I am more of a tough enjoyer so Kiryuu Miyawa or Kiichi would have suited me. However, it being Tekken 8 Yujiro Hanma dlc is guaranteed to rake in the cash.
Already the series has seen a boost of sales just out from him alone! Whether or not these are legit enjoyers of the series or drones that just autopilot Netflix has yet to be seen though.
Honestly cannot wait to see how he will play in the next gameplay trailer.
