After dropping their entire roster, Paris Legion announced that Dylan “Theory” McGee will remain with the team for the upcoming CDL season.
Paris Legion had the worst record in the Call of Duty League 2021 season. The team ended their run without making it to the Championship Stage. At the end of the season, the European representatives dropped their entire roster. According to the latest announcement, coach Theory will remain with the team for the upcoming CDL season.
Paris Legion made many roster changes during the 2021 Call of Duty League season but failed to solve their problems. As the season came to an end, Ulysses “AquA” Silva, Matthew “Skrapz” Marshall, Donovan “Temp” Laroda, and Alex “Zaptius” Bonilla were released from the roster.
According to the team’s announcement, Theory will be the head coach of the new roster again in the upcoming season. He joined the team before the 2021 season. Before his time in CDL, the coach played for so-called amateur teams that compete in the Challenger Series.
Paris Legion Believe in Theory
Even though poor performances during the 2021 CDL season, looks like the Paris Legion believe in Theory’s coaching capabilities. It was his first coaching experience but looking at his career, Theory played for top-tier teams back in the days. He competed against the best players in the world during the Call of Duty Championship days. Especially during CoD Championship 2015 and 2016. His last appearance was at the Call of Duty World League Championship 2018 with Lightning Pandas.
The European representatives will form a new roster in the off-season with the guidance of Theory. There are many options that the team could pick up as most of the players have been dropped from their teams. It is still unclear whether Paris Legion will compete with European players or not. The mystery will be solved in the upcoming weeks, as the new season start comes closer.
