After facing disappointing results, Paris Legion decided to drop their entire CDL roster and search for new players for the upcoming season.
The French organization had the worst record in the Call of Duty League and finished the season at the very last place. Changing the roster was an expected move considering the lack of chemistry between players and the results of the season.
Paris Legion started the season with Matthew “Skrapz” Marshall, Nicolas “Classic” DiCostanzo, Ulysses “AquA” Silva, and Luis “Fire” Rivera on the roster. After failing to get through tenth place in the first two Majors, the team decided to add Donovan “Temp” Laroda to the roster but nothing changed. The organization made another change during further stages and acquired Alex “Zaptius” Bonilla but the results kept getting worse.
According to the official account’s tweet, the team have decided to disband the team and seek new prospects for the upcoming season. Many teams dropped talented players from their rosters and it looks like we will witness a “roster-shuffle” this off-season.
Skrapz, AquA, and the coach Dylan “Theory” Mcgee were the only ones who were lucky to end the season under the Paris Legion uniform. However, Skrapz and AquA will not play for the French team next year. It is still unclear if Theory will stick with the team next season.
The Paris Legion are the only French representatives competing in the CDL. Just like other organizations, Legion also joined the league last year and competed against the best teams since the beginning. We may see surprise moves from the organization and meet new French players competing in the league against the best players in the world.
The start of the upcoming Call of Duty League season is not set yet. There is still much time for the Paris Legion to form a contender team.
