System Changes in TFT Patch Notes 14.8
Player Damage
TFT Patch Notes 14.8 changed damage dealt to players.
Before, figuring out how much damage you took in a fight depended on what stage you were in and how many enemies were left.
Now, it’s just based on the stage, with a little bit extra damage added for each enemy you didn’t defeat.
This means less mental gymnastics and easier loss streak planning, but hey, winning always avoids the math altogether!
- Stage Player Damage: 0/0/3/5/7/9/15/150 ⇒ 0/2/5/7/9/11/17/150
- Surviving Enemies Damage: 2/2/2/1/1/etc ⇒ 1/1/1/1/1/etc
- Double Up Stage Player Damage: 0/0/3/4/6/9/15/150 ⇒ 0/2/5/6/8/11/17/150
Streaks
In an effort to reward players for their consistency, Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.8 reintroduces a small amount of gold for streaks. Players will now receive 1 gold for achieving a streak of 2 wins or losses in a row.
- A streak of 2 wins or losses in a row now grants 1 gold
Shop Roll Odds
TFT Patch Notes 14.8 is also making changes in the shop roll odds! The 3-star champions were too strong and easy to get. Now, getting them at level 7 will be a bit tougher.
- Level 7: 19/30/40/10/1% ⇒ 20/33/36/10/1%

Traits Changes in TFT Patch Notes 14.8
TFT Patch Notes 14.8 brings a focus on balancing power levels and strategic play.
The Exalted trait is being buffed to make it a more viable option throughout the entire game, from the early stages to the late endgame.
On the other hand, Fortune’s healing is being toned down to make achieving a high gold income more strategic.
Additionally, adjustments are being made to ensure Inkshadow units have a more consistent power level.
Finally, the developers are keeping an eye on Heavenly compositions to prevent them from becoming an overly dominant strategy in the current meta.

Units Changes in TFT Patch Notes 14.8
TFT Patch Notes 14.8 focuses on buffing 4-cost champions to make them more competitive with 3-star lower cost units.
Developers felt 4-costs were too weak compared to strong 3-star compositions, especially against backline threats.
To address this, all 4-cost units are getting a health bump (among other buffs) while Kai’Sa, who was already strong, is getting a small attack speed nerf to compensate for the overall buff to 4-cost champions.
This patch aims to create a more balanced playing field where both 3-star and 4-cost compositions can thrive.

Augments Changes in TFT Patch Notes 14.8
TFT Patch Notes 14.8 tackles overpowered Augments. “Everything Must Go” is getting disabled entirely due to its extreme highs and lows, allowing strong economies to dominate lobbies.
On the other hand, “Fine Vintage” is getting a nerf to make it a bit riskier. It will now take an extra round for completed items to transform, preventing overly powerful early game spikes.
- Boiling Point (Porcelain) Mana per attack: 5 ⇒ 3
- Call to Adventure (Storyweaver) is no longer offered on 3-2.
- Everything Must Go! has been Disabled.
- Fine Vintage turns to transform: 3 ⇒ 4
- Raid Boss no longer offered on 2-1.
Items
TFT patch notes 14.8 is adjusting some items to keep the game balanced.
Giant Slayer needs more health thresholds to activate its bonus damage, compensating for the overall health increase of champions.
Bloodthirster and Titan’s Resolve are a strong combo, but Titan’s Resolve is getting a nerf to its AP ratio to make other defensive items like Sterak’s Gage more attractive choices.
- Giant Slayer Health threshold: 1600 ⇒ 1750
- Titan’s Resolve AP per stack: 2 ⇒ 1
- Demonslayer Health threshold: 1600 ⇒ 1750
- Titan’s Vow AP per stack: 3 ⇒ 2
