CDL’s London Royal Ravens will build their roster around Marcus “Afro” Reid ahead of the upcoming Call of Duty League season.
CDL’s only English representatives, London Royal Ravens, did not have their best season. The team ended the regular season at 10th place and failed to qualify for the Championship Stage. As a result, the organization decided to rebuild their roster for the upcoming season around Afro.
Sean “Seany” O’Connor, Alex “Alexx” Carpenter, Thomas “Dylan” Henderson and Christopher “Parasite” Duarte were the first players the team announced this year. After showing a disastrous performance in Stage 1, London Royal Ravens made big changes during the regular season. Zach “Zed” Denyer, Paul “PaulEhx” Avila and Alex “Zaptius” Bonilla were the ones to join forces but did not perform at their optimal.
The England representatives could not get any CDL points in Stage 1, Major 1, and Major 4. Even though the roster was changed many times, new faces could not bring the energy and chemistry the organization needed. After all, London Royal Ravens were 100 points behind Florida Mutineers, the latest Championship stage qualifier.
Although the team had many downs, Afro played at his best during Stages 4 and 5. It looks like the staff believes in Marcus before the upcoming season as they only kept him on the roster. Afro is such a valuable player but the side pieces will decide Ravens’ 2022 performance. As the disband news has just been announced, there is no information on who they will get.

CDL’s off-season has been going insane as most of the unsuccessful teams disbanded their rosters and began searching for new talent. The player pool is so wide for London Royal Ravens and they could even acquire big names such as; Ian “C6” Porter, Reece “Vivid” Drost, or even Dylan “Envoy” Hannon.
