Gamers can relive those glory days flaming on live with the new Xbox Chatting website!
Mike Wing has created a website that lets everyone recreate old Xbox Live messages.
But what can you do on this website and how can you save these funny snips?
Xbox Chatting
Firstly, just head over to the Xbox Chatting website here as it is completely free. But make sure you have given it access to your microphone of course.
This fan made website was created by the talented Mike Wing. Also under his belt are other meme creations such as the Bieber Coachella sim, Monk Music and others.

This fan made website was created so that people could relieve their most treasured moments. That being of course sending and receiving the vilest bit crushed messages on Xbox Live. Back in the day on the Xbox 360 players could send voice messages to each other.
These messages were poorly encoded and were recorded with horrible mics. But this was the charm Xbox Chatting recreates so perfectly.
However, Microsoft in their infinite wisdom did not add this iconic feature to the Xbox One and later consoles. But Microsoft is doing so well these days so that decision was clearly another to add to the W notches!

But this website can fill that bit crushed hole in your body with funny 15 second voice memos and text messages!
To record a message on Xbox Chatting just hit the add voice button. From there you can record your voice for 15 seconds and then save that message afterwards. Also, for funnier effects we can go into settings and mess with the distortion, compression, bit crush and noise.

Turning each one of these sliders all the way up brings me back to the days of old COD. You know before they made the bad ones like Black Ops 2!

Also, we can adjust the messages further by changing the background screen. This can be adjusted to show the in-game menus of other titles for screenshots. On top of that we can change our gamer-profile pic by clicking it and selecting over 100 avatar icons!
I don’t remember AVGN being in there but I appreciate Mike adding Mr Rolfe into the site. Xbox Chatting also lets us create messages to send to ourselves as well as customizing our profile names. By clicking add text we can make custom messages and access them via the messages tab.

Overall, this website is super easy to use and is funny reliving the distorted era of communication. Although we cannot talk directly to other users, we can save our voices and screenshot messages to each other.
But using this website makes me think back to why Xbox did not add this feature past the One series.

Although this feature is beloved by many the few that complained about it got Microsoft to up and abandoned the feature! This same company in the past has spoked about using AI to filter messages and chats live across the board.
Players always had the option to block or simply not open messages they deemed hateful. Now League of Legends auto bans you if it detects the slightest hint of toxicity in chat.
Let people including haters enjoy things TBH!
