Scopely’s WWE Champions launches a limited-time Cowboy Bebop crossover, bringing Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine and Jet Black into the WWE universe.
Scopely’s WWE Champions is taking players on a trip to 2071 with its latest limited-time event, “Bounty by Moonlight,” crossing over with the iconic anime series Cowboy Bebop.
Running from September 28 through October 4, the event transforms WWE Champions with the retro-futuristic aesthetic of Cowboy Bebop, bringing its legendary bounty hunters face-to-face with current and legendary WWE Superstars.
The crossover combines the worlds of wrestling and intergalactic bounty hunting through exclusive Cowboy Bebop-themed gear, allowing players to transform select WWE Superstars into characters from the anime.
Cowboy Bebop Meets WWE
The crossover features several recognizable characters from Cowboy Bebop, each reimagined through the WWE Champions roster.
Trick Williams can step into the role of Spike Spiegel, complete with Spike’s signature disheveled suit. His themed gear will be available starting October 2, allowing players to bring the Bebop crew’s most recognizable bounty hunter into the ring.
Sol Ruca takes on the role of Faye Valentine, sporting her iconic yellow outfit through special crossover gear that is already available.
Meanwhile, Bray Wyatt transforms into the Bebop crew’s captain, Jet Black, with his themed gear also available to players.
The crossover goes beyond cosmetic changes, with each character receiving dedicated entrance and victory animations designed around their new Cowboy Bebop identities.

New Players Can Unlock Trick Williams
The crossover also gives new players an opportunity to jump into WWE Champions with a bonus character.
Players can use the promotional code “COWBOY” to unlock two-time NXT Champion Trick Williams as a 5-Star Bronze character.
With more than 650 WWE Superstars available in WWE Champions, the game combines WWE’s current roster and legends with puzzle-based gameplay. Players match gems to perform wrestling moves and build their teams for battles.
The Cowboy Bebop crossover is available for a limited time, giving players until October 4 to experience the event and collect its themed content.
