Top Teams Compete for the Summoner’s Cup from October 14 to November 9
The Worlds 2025 League of Legends Championship is officially heading back to China. From October 14 to November 9, the top teams from around the world will battle for the ultimate title in professional LoL esports. Fans can expect intense matches, thrilling plays, and the crowning of a new World Champion.
Play-In and Swiss Stages – Beijing
The action begins at the Beijing Smart Esports Center, a cutting-edge venue built for elite gaming events. This will be the first time it hosts the Worlds 2025 League of Legends tournament.
On October 14, the Play-In Stage kicks off with 17 teams. A new feature this year includes a one-day best-of-five series between the fourth-seeded teams of the top two regions from MSI. The winner advances to the Swiss Stage.
From October 15 to 25, the Swiss Stage features 16 teams in a format where every win pushes teams toward the Knockout Stage, and every loss risks elimination.
Knockout Stage – Shanghai
The Knockout Stage takes place from October 28 to November 2 at the iconic Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. Known for its esports pedigree and cultural significance, this venue sets the stage for high-stakes competition.
The top 8 teams will face off in best-of-five, single-elimination matches. For the first time, the quarterfinals will lead directly into the semifinals with no break, nonstop action where only the strongest survive.
Finals – Chengdu
The final showdown of the Worlds 2025 League of Legends Championship happens on November 9 at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Gymnasium in Chengdu. This modern stadium is one of the most impressive in Western China, making it a perfect venue for the Finals.
Two teams will enter. Only one will lift the Summoner’s Cup.
Whether you’re watching live or online, Worlds 2025 League of Legends will deliver unforgettable moments and elite-level esports action.
