If you are an ADC player, you know it seems less important compared to other roles in the current meta. However, they can still have their impacts on the game and here are our top 5 ADC players to watch at Worlds 2021.
Even though the ADC role is behind jungler, mid laner, and supports nowadays, it is still important to have consistent damage per second. The best ADC players in the world right now are great at doing it and we will watch them play against each other. We have gathered you with our top 5 Worlds 2021 ADC players!
5 – Chen “GALA” Wei
GALA filled Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao’s shoes under the Royal Never Give Up uniform, and he made it to our Worlds 2021 ADC list. It is not that easy to fill Uzi’s shoes as he was arguably considered the best League of Legends player in the world. RNG tried to fill the AD position by acquiring Lu “Betty” Yu-Hung but it was not a successful move. However, GALA played almost perfectly in his first split. RNG managed to dominate LPL and won the MSI trophy with GALA getting the MVP award. To be honest, his recent performance was not the same as it was during Spring Split. He is still one of the biggest threats RNG have right now. Almost all of the LPL ADC players are at the top level mechanically and GALA showed his worth by winning against them. At Worlds 2021, he may have a much bigger impact on the games. GALA’s future as an ADC player looks bright.
4 – Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu
Deft was arguably considered the best ADC player in the world back in the days but he has not been able to show his MVP performances in recent years. Hanwha Life Esports will start their Worlds 2021 journey from the play-in stage. Deft will have a lot of time to get himself ready for the upper stages. He may not be the best player on HLE’s roster but he is still a great pick if you seek some experience in your team. Deft will guide you as well as focusing on his own game.
3 – Park “Teddy” Jin-seong
T1 Korean ADC player could not play most of the season as he was benched. T1 decided to play with Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong for most of the season but also won many games with Teddy. The reason I picked Teddy over Gumayusi is that his unpredictable carry potential. Teddy used to be one of the best ADC players in LCK but his performance graph is surely descending in the past few years. However, he still holds a big carry potential in his hands. When T1 plays with Teddy on the rift, it can be seen that they rely on his mechanics and that is what makes him a go-to pick. Teddy is a promising ADC player.
2 – Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk
Ruler has been playing out of his mind since 2018, and he is the second on our Worlds 2021 ADC list. Gen.G are not in their best shape right now but Ruler is their best player undisputably. The experienced marksman has been showing his worth since 2018 after their Worlds win with Samsung. To be honest, he has to show more if he wants to lift the trophy again. Even though he is a reliable player on his team, Gen.G have to improve their game if they want to compete with other teams.

1 – Park “Viper” Do-hyeon
Picking Viper as the best Worlds 2021 ADC player is not a big surprise. The Korean player is the main reason EDward Gaming made it to the Worlds stage this year. After his arrival in China, Viper almost did not have a single game where he played poorly. He is the most reliable player on the EDG roster, without any doubt and he proved it with his performance this year. He is one of the best ADC players in the world.
