LCK has one of the biggest competion in the League of Legends scene and their best teams are going to represent the region in Worlds 2021.

DAMWON Kia have been showing their dominance in the past couple of years but there are many strong teams in LCK. This year, we will watch four of them in the Worlds 2021 stage. DAMWON Kia, T1, and Gen.G Esports are going to participate in the main event. The other Korean representatives, Hanwha Life Esports, are going to start their journey from the playins.

Here's the official #Worlds2021 seeding information for the 4 qualified LCK teams!

DAMWON Kia

DAMWON Kia are arguably the best team in the world right now and they are definitely the strongest gun LCK has in Worlds 2021. DWG are the latest champions of the Korean competition. Looking at their roster; Kim “Khan” Dong-ha, Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, Heo “ShowMaker” Su, Jang “Ghost” Yong-jung, and Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee, you could see how strong they are. DAMWON’s biggest weakness has been their bot lane, struggling in almost every international tournament. However, their mid and topside are arguably the best in the world.

Khan, ShowMaker, and Canyon are the ones to watch. These three could easily smurf their opponents and outplay them with their game knowledge and play style. On the other hand, Ghost and BeryL could also surprise all the fans with a solid start. If they make a solid start, then it will definitely be hard for their opponents.

T1

Looking at their previous achievements, T1 used to be the best team in the world. Their previous rosters were crazy considering Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s prime. This year, they are the second-seeded team from LCK to compete in Worlds 2021. Could they bring the trophy home? Well, they have a long road ahead.

T1 made a radical decision and changed their coaching staff. The move was on-point considering their performance after the change. With their new jungler, Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon, the group stage may be in their favor. The rest, we will wait and see.

Gen.G Esports

Gen.G Esports are consistent in a different way; failing to meet expectations. The Korean squad is full of talent and experience but somehow they choke or underperform in important games. Their game plan should have been better as they have been playing together for a long time. Even though the expectations, Gen.G are the third-seeded LCK representative in Worlds 2021.

Their jungle-mid synergy is not that bad but due to a reason they sometimes coinflip important skirmishes. If Gen.G Esports decide on their game plan and focus on that matter, we may see them compete in the semifinals.

For the Play-In Stage, @HLEofficial was drawn into Group A!

Hanwha Life Esports

The last LCK team in Worlds 2021 is Hanwha Life Esports. In other words, Chovy Esports. The Korean mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon is one of the best players in the world right now and he has been carrying his team on his shoulders for a long time now.

Hanwha Life Esports’ performance relies on Chovy’s individual performance but the Korean mid laner has not upset his team for a long time. On top of Chovy, the experienced marksman Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu is another important part of the squad. Unfortunately, Deft failed to meet the expectations for a long time but he may surprise everyone in Worlds 2021.
