Champion Changes of Wild Rift Patch Notes 5.0a
Wild Rift Patch Notes 5.0a gives a boost to new champs, while reeling in late-game powerhouses. Here are the highlights of the champion changes:
- Garen: Garen is getting a damage buff to his Decisive Strike and Judgment abilities to help him compete in the diverse Baron lane meta and regain his early game pressure.
- Syndra: Syndra received buffs to both her base health and Dark Sphere ability damage, making her more durable early and giving her more poke power. This should help her establish dominance in the early game.
- Zyra: Zyra’s plants are getting more health in the early game, making them sturdier, while her Deadly Spines ability deals more damage at all levels, boosting her early poke and wave clear. This should make her a stronger early presence.
- Fizz: Fizz’s damage is taking a dip again in this Wild Rift Patch Notes 5.0a! His Urchin Strike and Rending Wave are losing some Ability Power scaling, making him slightly less bursty, especially in late-game team fights where opponents will appreciate the ability to breathe.
- Twitch: Twitch’s base attack damage and attack damage per level have been reduced, and his Spray and Pray bonus attack damage has been lowered. This should make him less likely to snowball out of control in the early game.
- Sivir: Sivir’s Ricochet damage has been changed from a percentage of Attack Damage to a flat amount plus a percentage of Attack Damage. This means she will be more reliable early in the game but scale less well with high Attack Damage. This change aims to make her more viable when behind, while still giving enemies counterplay when she is ahead.
- Yuumi: Yuumi is getting a mini-rework! The changes focus on giving her more survivability and mobility when attached to her ally, making their zoomies together more effective. Her Bop ‘n’ Block ability now grants a shield, and her You and Me! ability has been buffed to give her more adaptive power based on her ally’s stats.
Item Changes of Wild Rift Patch Notes 5.0a
Wild Rift Patch Notes 5.0a brings buffs to two items. Good news for fighters and tanks.
- Titanic Hydra: Titanic Hydra’s shockwave radius has been increased by 50 units, making it more effective in teamfights for controlling areas and hitting multiple enemies.
- Heartsteel: Heartsteel will now charge its powerful strike 0.5 seconds faster, making it easier to activate and potentially increasing its impact in games.
Talon, the Blade’s Shadow, is a new champion coming on February 23 through Wild Rift Patch Notes 5.0a.
Talon is an assassin who excels at quickly eliminating enemies before disappearing into the shadows. His abilities allow him to close the distance on his targets, deal massive damage, and then escape unscathed.
If you enjoy playing assassins on mid lane, then Talon is a great choice.
The Wild Rift 5.0a patch brings the Lunar Extravaganza event to celebrate the Year of the Dragon! Players can participate in the Lunar Guardian event to earn the Lunar Guardian skin for Aurelion Sol for free. Additionally, three chromas will be available during the event.
The Lunar Extravaganza event begins on February 8 at 00:01 UTC.
New Game Mode
The highly anticipated Arena mode is finally making its return to Wild Rift on February 12th at 00:01 UTC. This fast-paced, action-packed mode is a fan favorite, and players have been eagerly awaiting its return.
In Arena, players battle it out in a small, circular arena with the goal of being the last team standing. The mode is a great way to test your skills and reflexes, and it’s also a lot of fun.
