The Freljordian queen has been in the game since the days of beta, and whilst she’s never been standout in terms of design or even popularity amongst the fanbase, shes always managed to stay relevant.
A simple kit such as hers makes her very easy to balance, so Riot Games have her hanging around the top 10 ADC champions in the game every patch, if not higher!
She is one of the best actual ADC champions to play in most ranks in Patch 13.17, with a 51.83% win rate, and more importantly, she is super easy for new players, making her even more accessible!

Why Ashe is so good as an ADC Champion in League of Legends

This means newcomers to the game can instantly see success with her, and for good reason. Her kit provides slows with her basic auto attacks alongside her W, Volley, and empowered Q, Ranger’s Focus, as well as a global warding ability in her E, Hawkshot.

This is without mentioning her ultimate ability, Enchanted Crystal Arrow, at all. This is one of the best ultimate abilities on any ADC in the game, as she can use it defensively or aggressively, something not many other ADC champions have access to.
If an assassin is jumping onto Ashe, she can use her Enchanted Crystal Arrow defensively and instantly stun them for 1 second, or she can use it as a long-range engage to start fights for her team, stunning enemies for up to 3.5 seconds, based on how far the Enchanted Crystal Arrow has flown!
Who is the most popular ADC Champion in League of Legends?

Whilst Ashe is the winner of the best ADC champion in League of Legends award, she is not the most popular ADC in the game at the moment! That award actually goes to Kai’Sa, coming in with a 29.12% pick rate in Emerald and above, and a 23.91% pick rate in all ranks together!

This means that she is picked in every 4-5 games, and whilst she doesn’t boast a positive win rate as a champion in these games, with a 49.61% win rate, she is still one of the best ADC picks you can play!
