Clay is one of the many resources in Disney Dreamlight Valley that you must harvest to craft specific items. However, finding clay can be challenging if you don’t know which biome to search or which Royal tools to use.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Where to Find Clay
Clay is a foraged resource in Disney Dreamlight Valley that you can get by digging the ground in the biomes, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands. And it can sometimes be found at Kristoff’s Stall.
Unfortunately, even if you dig the ground in the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands, you aren’t guaranteed to get clay every time. But there is a way to farm for it.
How to farm for Clay in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Players can farm for Clay in Disney Dreamlight Valley by following these steps:
- Pick one of the three biomes: the Glade of Trust, the Sunlit Plateau, or Forgotten Lands. I like farming the Glade of Trust because it’s one biome I haven’t yet fully cultivated, making farming for clay straightforward.
- Using your Shovel, dig in a straight line. You can do this by holding down your dig button, and your character will continue to dig until you run out of Energy or can’t dig any further.
- Then, repeat this process until you have all the clay you need.
Depending on how many clay pieces you need, you may only need to do one or two rows. However, you may want to dig as many plots as possible for larger crafting items or stockpiling clay. You may also need large amounts of clay for quests, such as Minnie’s level seven friendship quest Remembering Old Times, where you’ll need 200 clay.
For this large amount, you’ll want to stock up on 5-star meals and dig in one of the three biomes until you run out of Energy. Then, consume a 5-star meal to replenish your Energy bar and continue digging. You’ll repeat this process until you have 200 clay. It takes a lot of work to get this much clay, but it is worth it. And so long as you don’t plant seeds within the cultivated land, it will return to normal within 24 hours.
