The Chamber meta was a popular strategy in VALORANT some months ago. However, the agent is not as widely used anymore. In this article, we’ll explore why the Chamber meta was so effective and why it’s not as popular as it used to be.
What was the Chamber meta?
The Chamber meta was a strategy that revolved around using the agent Chamber to hold down sites. Chamber’s abilities made him an ideal pick for this role.
His alarm bots (back in the day he had 2) allowed him to cover multiple angles, while his ultimate, Tour de Force, could be used to clear out entire areas, shooting as fast as a Marshall and leaving a slow effect after eliminating an opponent.
Why was Chamber meta so effective?
The Chamber meta was so effective because it allowed teams to hold down sites with ease. Chamber’s abilities made it difficult for attackers to push through, and his ultimate could be used to clear out entire areas. Additionally, Chamber’s weapons were very strong, making him a formidable opponent in gunfights.
Why is Chamber not as popular anymore?
This agent is not as popular anymore because of the nerfs it received. The nerfs made Chamber less effective at holding down sites, reducing 2 to 1 his alarm bot, and his weapons were also nerfed. As a result, many players have moved on to other agents that are more effective in the current meta.
Chamber meta was a popular strategy in VALORANT some months ago. However, the agent is not as widely used anymore due to recent nerfs. While Chamber is still a viable pick in certain situations, he is no longer the dominant force he once was. We can’t know when Chamber will become meta again, as balancing the agents is something only Riot Games knows.
As of now, it doesn’t look like he will be as strong as he was before, as Riot Games recently buffed Cypher, another sentinel, making it hard for Chamber to receive a buff in the following months.
