In the second round mathcup of this split’s LPL playoffs, Weibo Gaming topped EDG and knocked them out of the playoffs.

Weibo Gaming topped the latest Worlds winner, EDward Gaming and advanced to the third stage to face JD Gaming.

Weibo Gaming closed out the series in four games, with a score of 3-1.

EDward Gaming’s LPL 2022 Spring Split performance hasn’t been the best for them. The organization managed to lift the Worlds trophy last year and kept their entire roster to dominate the scene for another year. Things didn’t go as planned as EDward Gaming’s Spring Split run has come to an end.
On the other hand, Weibo Gaming’s journey continues as the team will face JD Gaming in the third rounf ot action. According to the LPL format, the winner of that series will face Royal Never Give Up in the fourth round. The winner of the entire playoff tournament will grant a ticket to this year’s MSI.
