North American esports organization Version1 has revealed their all-female Valorant roster, VersionX, ahead of VCT Game Changers NA Series 3.
Version1 female Valorant team: VersionX
Just a day before the VCT Game Changers NA Series 3 Open Qualifier begins, Version1 has announced its intention to get in on all the Valorant action with its all-female team; dubbed VersionX, the V1’s roster comprises players who aren’t new to the Game Changers landscape.
V1 has signed most of the members of Just Breathe, a relatively competitive team in the all-female scene of North America. The roster has competed in the Sakura Cup #2 & #4, finished 3rd-4th in Game Changers Academy, and made it to the top eight of Game Changers Series 2. Along with the Just Breathe core is a former Counterlogic Gaming standout. Let’s meet the team.
Meet VersionX (VX):
Kiara “milk” Makua
Taking on IGL duties for VX is Kiara Makua. She was Just Breathe’s IGL and main Jett player, though she’s also known to pick up Reyna or Astra if needed. CS: GO fans will know milk as one of Dignitas Female’s star players. With Dignitas, she won three world titles in Counterstrike. She brings her exceptional FPS pedigree to the VX roster.
Naomi “Naomi” Sauvola
Naomi is no stranger to high-level Valorant. She was part of Counterlogic Gaming’s female Valorant roster that came second only to NA’s reigning queens, Cloud 9 White. Proficient as a sentinel, Naomi will most likely be on Killjoy. She rejoins her former Just Breathe teammates on VX.
Natalia “Natty” Jackson
Before moving over to Valorant, Natty was on the Silhouette CS: GO team with Naomi. When her team moved to Riot’s FPS, she took on the “flex” role. She’s been seen on KAY/O, Raze, Skye, and Viper in her last thirteen maps. Her versatility in any role makes her the VX team’s wildcard.
Rachel Lynn “rushhh” Hang
Rushhh was Just Breathe’s Sova main. We expect her to pick up the agent in her new team as well. While on Sova, Hang has been stable with a 0.98 rating and 167.3 ACS. Reliable and mechanically gifted, rushhh is a player to lean on for VX.
Katherine “Karra” Lee
Finally, VX’s Sage main is Karra. The sixteen-year-old Korean prodigy is one to watch on the VersionX roster. True to the “battle sage” moniker, Karra has amassed an impressive ACS of 247 and 1.47 KD ratio. She’s not just a one-trick pony though, Karra is also known to take up Astra duties in remarkable form. On the controller, Karra is lethal and has a 317 ACS and 1.97 KD.
While the complete list of participants for VCT Game Changers Series 3 hasn’t been released, we expect to see VersionX compete in the tournament’s open qualifier, which will be streamed on the Nerdstreet Gamers Twitch Channel from September 24-26.
