Valorant’s newest map, Fracture, is full of easter eggs that call back and hint at the lore behind the story behind the universe of Riot’s first-person shooter.
More Valorant Easter egg lore in Fracture
Fracture’s unique layout alone is worth a discussion, but what we love the most is the amount of lore the Riot devs have put into the map with a bunch of Easter eggs. We’ve scoured the map and have spotted all the different Easter eggs left for players to interact with and analyze.
Valorant takes the lore even further with Fracture, a literal rift between the worlds that seems to begin at the map’s location. The A-site side of the map, or the Omega Sector, looks like a barren wasteland. While on the other hand, B-site or Alpha Sector looks evergreen. The different posters seen on Kingdom Industry’s A-site also look like something you’d see in a dystopian-like fallout.
The name, Fracture
While the map’s name seems to be a play on how the environment physically looks, it might also talk about the backstory of the whole universe in which the game is played. The location of Fracture, in our opinion, looks like a testing facility that was home to a collider. It could be that Kingdom Industries was testing what would happen if they used the collider, as seen on the map, to fuse the radianite of the two Earths.
We think that, at one point, the two realities were working together, but a catastrophic event caused a “fracture” between the relationship of Kingdom Industries from either reality. There’s even an audio Easter egg that says, “if you see yourself on-site, report to central administration immediately. Simultaneous shifts are prohibited!”
Fracture Easter egg you can interact with
Riot devs have also introduced easter eggs you can interact with while playing. There are three around Fracture that you can check out during the buy phases of every round. There’s one in the attacker spawn and two at the defender spawn.
Attacker side bridge

First is the attacker side bridge. It can be found on the opposite side of where attackers spawn, so you’ll have to take the zipline to get across. There’s an elevated space at the top of Attacker Side Bridge, just off-center to the right (note the minimap). Here, you’ll find the Level 5 Security Clearance for Paul Delmann.
Paul has been referenced before in Icebox as the employee of the month. He’s also the same person in a hazmat suit you see in the “Employee of the Month” player card that came in Episode 2: Formation, Act 2 Battle Pass.
Defender side spawn 1 & 2

The following two easter eggs you can interact with are on either side of the control panel found in the Defender Side Spawn. The one on the A-site side of the panel is an email from Oran McEneff to a man named Ruben Pontes. The message talks about a device called the Radian Collider.

The second one, found on the B-site side of the panel, is a message from the K-SEC Team. We assume that means Kingdom Security. The message was for Oran McEneff, telling him that “Ruben Pontes is McEneff’s ‘Omega partner’ and they’re to meet outside ’07/a’ the following day at 9:00 a.m. or 0900 military times.”
It is going to get deeper

Valorant’s creative director, David Nottingham, tweeted that more story elements in Fracture will be updated per patch basis. So expected to see the map change similar to how Icebox was tweaked when they teased Yoru or Split when they teased Kill Joy.
There are also easter eggs that hint at what happened at Fracture that ties into the introduction of Valorant’s new agent. However, that’s a story for another time. We’ll just have to wait and see how Riot drops more lore about Valorant.
