Studio Wildcard has officially launched Valguero Ascended, a completely remastered version of one of ARK: Survival Evolved’s most beloved expansion maps, now available for free in ARK: Survival Ascended.
This upgraded version of Valguero delivers a sharper, wilder, and deadlier survival experience. Players can explore over 63 kilometers of land and sea, filled with ten distinct biomes, from glowing tundras and towering redwoods to the eerie depths of the Aberration Trench. The world blends medieval legend and prehistoric wilderness, offering a hauntingly beautiful landscape filled with danger and discovery.
Leading the new additions is the Megaraptor, a ruthless apex predator and the map’s new boss encounter, alongside the return of Valguero’s iconic Deinonychus, a cliff-leaping hunter with deadly precision.
New Additions: Elderclaw and Lost Colony
Launching alongside Valguero Ascended, Studio Wildcard has introduced Fantastic Tames: Elderclaw, a new creature available to players who own the Lost Colony Expansion Pass. This towering forest guardian brings both beauty and power to the wilds, acting as both protector and predator.
Lost Colony represents the first all-original adventure for ARK: Survival Ascended. Players will follow Mei Yin, voiced by Michelle Yeoh (ARK: The Animated Series), through a chilling, frozen world as she uncovers ancient secrets buried deep within the ARK’s past.
