Legendary AD Carry Uzi has returned to the competitive scene and joins the League of Legends Pro League team, Bilibili Gaming.
Bilibili Gaming is a professional Chinese esports organization owned by Bilibili.com — a video-sharing website for fans of anime, comics, and games. In a recent post, Bilibili Gaming announced that League of Legends veteran and star player of the LPL, Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao will be joining their team ahead of the 2022 season.
Uzi began his professional career in 2012 when he was signed with Royal Never Give Up. He became a core member of their team for many years and became one of the best bot laners of all time.
Even though Uzi ended his professional League career in June 2020 due to health concerns, he stayed active in the community by continuing to stream. He also launched a League of Legends: Wild Rift team that offered a salary for signed players and a professional training environment.
After ending seventh in the 2021 LPL Summer Split, Bilibili Gaming decided to overhaul its team for 2022. The only remaining squad member is the Jungler, Wei “Weiwei” Bo-Han.
Besides the addition of the AD Carry legend, Bilibili Gaming has announced the rest of their roster for 2022:
- Top laner: Chen “Breathe” Chen, formerly from Team WE.
- Jungler Wei “Weiwei” Bo-Han.
- Mid laner Chu “FoFo” Chun-Lan, formerly from Rare Atom.
- Bot laner Chiu “Doggo” Tzu-Chuan, formerly from Beyond Gaming.
- Support Liu “Crisp” Qing-Song, formerly from FunPlus Phoenix.
Fans have high hopes for this newly reformed team with Uzi as its leader and star players like Doggo, who is well-known for his exceptional gameplay at both the MSI 2021 and League of Legends Worlds Championship 2021.
With the return of Uzi, Bilibili Gaming is a team to watch in the upcoming 2022 LPL Spring Split.
