North American esports organization TSM has partnered with the anime streaming service Crunchyroll to collaborate on a range of merchandise for the series, My Hero Academia.
TSM is a professional esports organization working to build one of the world’s most successful and recognizable esports organizations. They field teams in popular titles such as Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT. They have previously partnered with major brands such as FTX, Logitech, and Twitch.
The collaboration between Crunchyroll and TSM coincides with the launch of My Hero Academia’s sixth season. The anime-themed products that will be available include hoodies, t-shirts, mousepads, and keycaps.
According to the announcement, the artwork from My Hero Academia will be used in conjunction with TSM’s logo and standard black and white brand colors.
“The world of My Hero Academia feels very fitting in how it parallels esports and TSM.” Erik Marino, Vice President of Apparel for TSM.
“Players training in the academy to rise and become pro, we often think of some TSM players, like Imperial Hal and Solo, as full-fledged pro heroes with their own special quirks,” commented Erik Marino, Vice President of Apparel for TSM.
Fans can purchase the merch range at Twitchcon San Diego, which starts on October 7, 2022. For those unable to attend, the merchandise range will be available online from October 18, 2022, on TSM’s online store.
The partnership between TSM and Crunchyroll is an exciting announcement for anime and gaming fans. It is a great way to bring the two communities together.
