Jackbox Games has revealed release dates for two upcoming additions to its popular party game lineup. Trivia Murder Party 3 will arrive in Early Access on September 17, followed by The Jackbox Party Pack 12 on October 15.
The two releases will bring new multiplayer experiences to players later this year, with Trivia Murder Party 3 expanding the fan-favorite trivia series into its first standalone title.
Trivia Murder Party 3 launches in September
Trivia Murder Party 3 will launch in Early Access on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 17, 2026. A full 1.0 release is planned for PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 in 2027.
The game takes players to Camp Mass Acres, where traditional trivia is combined with deadly mini-games and a variety of new challenges. The latest entry will also introduce online multiplayer, allowing players to take part even when they are not playing in the same location.
Local multiplayer will remain available, while new mini-games and customizable accessories add additional ways for players to create chaotic party sessions.
The release date announcement was accompanied by a new trailer highlighting the game’s trivia challenges and horror-inspired setting.
The Jackbox Party Pack 12 arrives in October
Just a month later, The Jackbox Party Pack 12 will launch on October 15, 2026.
The latest collection in Jackbox Games’ long-running party series will include five completely new games, covering a variety of trivia, creativity, and social multiplayer challenges.
The Jackbox Party Pack 12 will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, Apple TV, iPad, and Mac.
The collection’s games are designed around the same accessible multiplayer format the series is known for. Players can use their smartphones as controllers, allowing groups to join without needing additional gamepads.
Jackbox Games says the Party Pack series has seen more than 826 million games started since December 2022, highlighting the continued popularity of its social multiplayer format.
Two new Jackbox releases on the way
With Trivia Murder Party 3 arriving in September and The Jackbox Party Pack 12 following in October, Jackbox Games is expanding its party game lineup with two different approaches.
The former builds on one of the studio’s most recognizable trivia series with its first standalone release, while the latter continues the broader Jackbox Party Pack formula with five new games.
Both titles are designed to make multiplayer sessions easy to set up, with smartphone controls allowing players to join without dedicated controllers.
