Toronto Ultra announced that they will keep their Call of Duty League 2021 roster for the upcoming season.
Toronto Ultra were one of the best performing teams in the Call of Duty League 2021 season. The organization gathered together an international roster to compete in the North American scene and they made it to the final stage. After this achievement, Toronto Ultra decided to keep their successful roster together for another year.
CDL 2021 Roster
Ben “Bance” Bance, Cameron “Cammy” McKilligan, Tobias Jull “CleanX” Jensson, and Jamie “Insight” Craven formed the Toronto Ultra roster. On top of these players, Anthony “Methodz” Zinni was the substitute player on the roster. They formed the second-best successful team in the league right after the champions Atlanta FaZe.
The Canadian team started their 2021 run with Methodz on the starting roster. However, things did not go as planned and they showed poor performances during the first stage. After Insight joined the team in the second stage, Ultra showed much better performances and crowned their form by winning Stage 2 Major.
Toronto Ultra improved their chemistry and performance in every stage. The team did not play to waste time or fill a spot but to win the trophy. It was obvious considering their performance against other contender teams.
During Call of Duty League’s 2021 season, Toronto Ultra had a massive lead in the standings and secured themselves the second spot at the end of the regular season. The Canadian representatives started their Championship Stage run from the second round. Unfortunately, they faced a heartbreaking 3-2 loss against Dallas Empire and continued their run from the losers’ bracket.
In the end, the Call of Duty League team found themselves in the final stage but could not beat Atlanta FaZe to lift the trophy. Even though they couldn’t finish the job, Ultra showed great potential. The management saw their hustle and success and kept the players within the organization for another year.
