The LEC franchise is one of the oldest League of Legends tournaments in the ecosystem and there have been some teams that pumped the entertainment level up. Some of these teams are no longer competing in the league and here is a deeper look into them. Here are the top 5 LEC teams that are not competing in the league anymore!
H2k Gaming
Based in the United Kingdom, H2k Gaming surely dominated the league for a short amount of time. Many European and Asian talents competed for the organization. H2k Gaming finished the EU LCS 2016 Summer Playoffs in third place and qualified for Worlds 2016. They had great splits before, and they even qualified for the previous World Championship, they reached the semi-finals back in 2016. H2k’s last split in the scene was EU LCS 2018 Summer in which they only grabbed 2 wins and lost 16. Some of their notable players are Jankos, niQ, Caedrel, Sheriff (Patrik), Febiven, Odoamne, Santorin, kaSing, Hjarnan, Vander, YamatoCannon, Ryu, Nuclear, Freeze, and of course, FORG1VEN.

Alliance
They were first introduced back in 2013 and made their EU LCS debut in the EU LCS 2014 Spring Split. The organization won its first title in the same year after taking down Fnatic in the 2014 Summer Grand Finals. Later on, Alliance competed under the Elements name. They competed for another 1.5 years and sold their spot to Schalke 04 Esports. Some of their notable players are: Wickd, Froggen, Tabbz, Shook, Nyph, Rekkles, Krepo, MrRalleZ, sprattel (promisq), Steve, Eika, Gilius.
Origen
One of the most known League of Legends players of all time, xPeke, decided to form his team and compete in the competition. Origen reached the Worlds 2015 Semi Finals and had great performances throughout their time in the league. After the 2017 season, they were relegated and after a short period, they came back to the scene by winning EU Masters Spring Main Event in 2018. Origen got accepted to LEC in 2019 but they were rebranded to Astralis after the end of the 2020 season. Some of their notable players are xPeke, Zveni Mithy, sOAZ, Amazing, Wisdom, Cyanide, NaeHyun, Froggeni inSec, Expect, Jesiz, Kold, Upset, Nukeduck, Alphari, and Xerxe.
Copenhagen Wolves
One of the top 5 LEC teams that do not exist anymore, is Copenhagen Wolves. The Danish organization competed in the league from 2013 to the end of the 2015 season. The team never competed at the international level. After the 2015 season, they were relegated to EU CS. Despite reaching the EU CS 2016 Spring Playoffs Finals, Copenhagen Wolves failed to take down Giants in the EU LCS 2016 Summer Promotion tournament. After that, they sold their EU CS spot to Nerv and never competed again. Some of their notable players are Bjergsen, YoungBuck, Exileh, Amazing, Svenskeren, and Deficio.
Unicorns of Love
Even though they are not in the LEC, Unicorns of Love did not stop their operations but they are competing in the Prime League. They were one of the most famous European teams. UOL competed in the league until 2019 and decided to join the CIS league. Lastly, the organization formed a roster to compete in the German league and disband their CIS roster. Some of their notable players are PowerofEvil, Vizicsacsi, Samux, Hylissang, Gilius, and Vardags.
