Australian esports organization, The Chiefs Esports Club, has announced a partnership with APC by Schneider Electric.
The Chiefs Esports Club was founded in August 2014 by the top League of Legends team members in Australia. Since its inception, The Chiefs have established competitive teams in several titles, such as League of Legends and Halo. APC by Schneider Electric is another addition to the esports organization’s portfolio, which contains the likes of OPTUS, MARVEL, and HyperX.
“We’ve all been there before, someone has either tripped the power, or there is a blackout in your block.
Nick Bobir, CEO of The Chiefs.
“But you were in the middle of a game and now not only have to wait to see if your gear is fried, but you know you have cost your team the game. Now thanks to this partnership with APC, we can keep The Chiefs powered up no matter what gets thrown at them,” commented Nick Bobir, CEO of The Chiefs.
Through this partnership, APC will supply its Back-UPS Pro units to the organization’s teams to protect their PCs, consoles, and internet modems from power surges.
“The APC brand of UPS has been a trusted and reliable solution, both for Home and Commercial applications, over the many years.”
Ras Jayawickrama, Schneider Electric’s Pre-Sales & Offer Management leader.
“With gaming, we understand the importance of confidence & performance in the system – to bring out the optimum game. That’s why delivering premium power protection & uptime for high-performance computing, and gaming systems is important to us,“ commented Ras Jayawickrama, Schneider Electric’s Pre-Sales & Offer Management leader.
Through this partnership between APC by Schneider Electric and The Chiefs Esports Club, the team can feel reassured that their equipment is protected from power surges.
