If you want to climb this patch, we have compiled for you the best champion for each lane in Patch 13.7!
So Patch 13.7 has rolled around, and we have had a fair few changes; from Kha’Zix Isolation buffs to Death’s Dance being reverted, the meta changed a fair bit. This article has the best champion for every lane to help you dominate your games!
Top Lane: Malphite

With no surprise here in the Top Lane, we have the Shard of the Monolith still stomping almost every matchup! Malphite saw a series of buffs at the end of Season 12 and has barely been nerfed since – meaning his dominance prevails!
He is so powerful against other popular Top Laners, such as Darius, Garen, and Riven, due to the way his passive, Granite Shield, stacks with 8% of his total armor, meaning he gets bigger and bigger all game!
The Logitech Cloud Gaming Handheld offers advanced graphics and cloud gaming capabilities, meaning you can game whenever and wherever you like!
This means for a champion that thrives around AOE damage with his W, Thunderclap, E, Ground Slam, and ultimate ability, Unstoppable force, he is a team fight monster the later into the game you get!
The Top Laner also scales insanely well, with his W, Thunderclap, giving him up to 30% bonus armor at level five, and the damage scaling off 30% of his Ability Power and 20% of his armor too – just make sure to build Thornmail too!
His ultimate, Unstoppable Force, also scales off 90% Ability Power! One champion to ban, however, is Sylas. This is because if Sylas gets your ultimate ability in a team fight, he can utilize it as well, if not better than Malphite can!
Jungle: Jarvan IV

We know he’s not the most exciting champion, similar to Malphite, but Jarvan is still going nuts on Summoner’s Rift. It’s nice seeing older champions dominating the meta for once.
J4 is so strong because of how heavily reliant the game is on crowd control and zoning, two things the Demacian Prince excels at. These two make Jarvan the best champion in Patch 13.7 compared to other junglers.
He builds Goredrinker and Black Cleaver, which combined with Conqueror as your keystone rune gives some of the best survivability and damage in the game right now!
Jarvan is so good at ganking Bot Lane in this current meta due to how many engage Supports are being picked up. These include Rakan, Thresh, and Nautilus. So if you have a duo Support main, then camp their lane every game for free LP!
Mid Lane: Cassiopeia

The most overpowered mid laner at the moment was a toss-up between Cassiopeia and Annie, and considering both are dominating at the moment, either will help you climb!
We chose the Serpent’s Embrace over Annie as she is so strong in almost every matchup.
She is one of the few Rod of Ages users that don’t get hit too hard with the nerf to Catalyst of Aeons going up from 1100 gold to 1300 gold this patch. It means that she can edge out most other mages early on.
She has a lot of sustain with her E, Twin Fang, healing her when she attacks targets afflicted by the Poison debuff. In a very dive-based meta, her ultimate ability, Petrifying Gaze, can prevent her from being dove upon and one shot!
The difference between the two is mainly their ban rates in Patch 13.7 so far, and although they are similar, Annie’s ban rate is increasing at 4.52%, whilst the Medusa wannabe is staying steady at around 3.44%.
Bot Lane: Jinx

Jinx is miles ahead of any other ADC champion in Patch 13.7, and with the Arcane Star having a 27.59% pick rate, people have noticed her. Jinx is the best champion in Patch 13.7, when it comes to ADCs!
Her main competitor was Zeri, but with Zeri getting nerfed this patch with her survivability being hit hard, Jinx outperforms the Spark of Zaun. Jinx still takes Lethal Tempo as her keystone rune, and Kraken Slayer still sets her off like a livewire!
Don’t Jinx yourself– enjoy the excellent lumbar support available from the Secret Lab x League of Legends Collaboration Chair!
The ADC is very good with most Supports too. Especially with her E, Flame Chompers! It allows her to Crowd Control enemies and combo them with her Support’s own Crowd Control abilities. This is something Zeri and other ADCs don’t have!
Support: Rakan

For the Support role, we were stuck between the newest champion, Milio, and Rakan. Milio is your go-to for an overpowered Enchanter, but as an engage champion, the Xayah fanboy is the best you can get.
In the end, we chose Rakan because Milio is still too new for players to properly utilize every game to climb!
The meta is all about engaging, and Rakan is the king, dashing to teammates, healing himself and his ally with Q, Gleaming Quill. You can also dash with W, Grand Entrance, and knock enemies up. Finally, charm with his ultimate, The Quickness!
This is one of the best combos in the current meta, and a good Rakan can pull it off flawlessly!
He also does exceptionally well into Milio, as the newest champion wants to stay in the backline and buff his allies. However, the Vastayan can dive the enemy backline and force out Milio’s ultimate, Breath of Life!
Those are the best champions for each lane in Patch 13.7! What do you think? If you get a team with these five in, then you are bound to win, but even just one can carry a game!
