The Overwatch League Playoffs are set as the curtains have closed on the regular season and play-ins. There are now 12 teams vying for the 2022 Overwatch League championship.
At this point, the East region will be represented by the Seoul Dynasty, Shanghai Dragons, Philadelphia Fusion, and Hangzhou Spark. Furthermore, after a thrilling Countdown Cup play-in weekend, the final two teams of the West region are set. In summary, the West will be represented by the Dallas Fuel, San Francisco Shock, Los Angeles Gladiators, Houston Outlaws, Atlanta Reign, London Spitfire, Florida Mayhem, and Toronto Defiant.

At this point, the Overwatch League Playoffs kick off Oct. 30, with the fifth through twelfth teams playing a seeded first round of the double-elimination bracket. The top four seeds will receive a first-round bye. In addition, the top three seeds will have the opportunity to select their opponent for the second round of matches.
