The Tfue Kick collab has been officially declared on social media, which means that the famous streamer is back on track!
Renowned Fortnite player Tfue is back in action, and this time, he’s shaking up the streaming world on Kick, throwing a punch at Twitch.
Since Kick’s launch in October 2022, it’s been taking shots at Twitch, nudging the platform to improve deals for its streamers.
Tfue Kick collab ends the journey with Twitch
Once a top player on Twitch, Tfue called it quits in June 2023, leaving fans hanging for two months until he announced his retirement on YouTube.
His gaming roots are in Fortnite, where he made a name for himself in 2017, even spending some time with FaZe Clan.
After leaving Twitch, Tfue took a break from social media to focus on living life away from the screen.
Tfue made a splash on November 19 with a comeback announcement on Twitter/X, breaking his five-month social media silence.
In the Tfue Kick collab video, he showcased his streaming setup, proudly wearing a Kick hat—a clear sign of his switch to the new platform.
In true Tfue fashion, the announcement video included a Modelo chug, the iconic “Sirius” by the Alan Parsons Project (known as the Chicago Bulls’ theme in the ’90s) and a pack of American Spirits.
Despite the time away, Tfue’s laid-back style is stronger than ever.
With a new Kick contract, he now has the freedom to shape his content.
Securing Tfue is a major win for Kick in the streaming wars.
But it’s not their only victory this year—earlier, they signed on xQc, Fabrizio Romano, and Hikaru, further solidifying their position in the live streaming competition.
Who is Tfue?
Before becoming a Kick superstar, Tfue, also known as Turner Tenney, made a name for himself by streaming games like Call of Duty, Destiny, and H1Z1.
However, his breakthrough came with Fortnite Battle Royale, and he later joined FaZe Clan, a prominent esports organization.
Despite the controversies, Tfue continued his streaming journey, and on September 2, 2019, he allegedly made a controversial statement while streaming, yet faced no action from Twitch.
Fast forward to June 20, 2023, Tfue surprised the internet with a retirement announcement on YouTube.
However, just five months later, on November 19, 2023, he returned triumphantly, revealing his new streaming home on Kick.com through another YouTube video.
