Teamfight Tactics is back with its most hype-filled, anime-inspired set yet: TFT K.O. Coliseum. Launching on July 30 with Patch 15.1, this new set transforms the Convergence into a full-blown fighting tournament. Hosted by Whisker, it features wild new traits, explosive battles, and a fresh mechanic to power up your champs.
Whether you’re climbing ranked or just flexing your comps in Norms, here’s everything you need to know about TFT K.O. Coliseum.
Soul Fighter Champions Dominate the Arena in TFT K.O. Coliseum
This trait features brawlers like Kalista, Sett, Viego, and Gwen—all built for explosive momentum. Soul Fighters stack Attack Damage and Ability Power up to 8 times. At full stacks, they unlock true damage, turning any round in your favor.
Gwen, the 5-cost carry, deals massive AoE damage every third cast. Soul Fighter comps are perfect for aggressive players looking for fast wins and high scaling.
Friendship Powers Star Guardian Synergy in TFT Set 11
The Star Guardian trait returns with new energy. Units like Ahri, Jinx, and Seraphine boost each other through Teamwork Bonuses, gaining more strength as more Guardians hit the board.
Seraphine leads the squad with her “Ultimate Friendship Bomb,” which scales with her team’s stats and blasts enemies in a wide area. It’s sparkly, it’s deadly, and it’s perfect for fans of big caster comps.
Crystal Gambit Trait Adds Risk and Reward to K.O. Coliseum
If you love gambling in TFT, Crystal Gambit is for you. Win or lose, you earn Gem Power. Every four player combats, you can cash out or double down for more. Just don’t get greedy!
Zyra, the 5-cost “Rosemother,” uses summoned Thornspitters to deal damage and buff allies’ Attack Speed. Timing your cashout is key to dominating the mid and late game.
Mighty Mech Units Combine Forces for Big Impact in TFT K.O. Coliseum
The Mighty Mech trait brings the Voltron fantasy to life. Stack units like Yone, Jarvan IV, and Lucian to power up a central mech. The higher their star levels, the stronger the shared mech becomes.
Yone is the real standout. His attacks alternate between true damage and magic damage, while his ability targets the furthest enemies with powerful knock-ups.
Dark and Deadly: Wraith Units in the New TFT Set
Wraiths like Zac, Varus, and Malzahar pull strength from the Shadow Realm, dealing AoE damage to the nearest enemies. Plus, the Wraith with the lowest HP heals based on total damage dealt.
Varus, in particular, gets stronger the longer fights go on. He gains mana from fallen allies and rains piercing arrows across the board.
Battle Academia Learns and Scales in TFT Set 11
Champions like Ezreal, Leona, and Yuumi level up their skills throughout combat. Give them enough completed items and they’ll unlock the Prismatic Battle Academia Trait, upgrading their kits to new heights.
Perfect for players who love snowball comps with huge late-game potential.
Luchador Trait in TFT K.O. Coliseum Brings the Smackdown
These wrestlers aren’t just for show. Gnar, Volibear, Dr. Mundo, and Braum gain power at 50% HP, cleanse debuffs, heal, and leap into enemies with a knock-up.
Braum, as “The Champ,” brings Poro Fans who reduce incoming Tactician damage after losses. Just don’t let him lose too often—they’ll go home disappointed!
Unique Trait Combos: The Crew, Mentor, and Supreme Cells
- The Crew: Champions like Shen, Ziggs, and Twisted Fate scale with each other. Get enough 3-stars, and they’ll summon a starship strike.
- Mentor: Field all four Mentors (Ryze, Udyr, etc.) to unlock massive upgrades.
- Supreme Cells: The highest-damage unit becomes Supreme, executing enemies below 10% HP.
- Monster Trainer: Lulu brings Kog’Maw, Rammus, or Smolder along for the ride—each with special powers.
Power Snax and Prismatic Traits: Game-Changing Mechanics in TFT K.O. Coliseum
Power Snax are the set’s signature mechanic. You get one at game start and another later. Feed it to any unit to unlock a custom power-up. Not vibing with your pick? Use a remover and switch it up.
To unlock Prismatic Traits, you’ll need to complete special challenges:
- Soul Fighter: Field 8 and deal major player damage.
- The Crew: 3-star all Crew members.
- Battle Academia: Stack completed items.
- Star Guardian: Field 8 and spend enough mana.
- Crystal Gambit: Win big on a cashout.
- Mighty Mech: Collect 3 mech augments.
