The dream of two European teams turns into a nightmare in the recent DreamLeague Season 20. Team Liquid and Entity have to bow out early in the competition as they have no further chances of advancing to the next phase.
DreamLeague Season 20 started its first phase, Group Stage 1, on June 11. Sixteen teams were divided into two groups where they have to fight each other in a best-of-two round-robin series.
At the end of day three, Team Liquid and Entity both ended up at the lower bottom of Group A and Group B respectively.
Team Liquid’s run ended early in the first group stage of DreamLeague Season 20
It seems like the dominant Team Liquid is having a hard time. The last DPC tour didn’t end too well for them as they ended up in 4th place, although they still managed to book the ticket to Bali Major.
With their performance in mind, fans are hoping to see better days ahead for the team in the DreamLeague Season 20..
Unfortunately, they started the tournament losing both matches against the EU DPC champion, Tundra Esports. Later that day, they managed to salvage a point against Evil Geniuses.
The Logitech G502 X line features a new way to game with its innovative hybrid switches for speed, precision, and lightweight.
The next day was not any better as they surprisingly lost two matches against Talon Esports, who also had a tough time in the recent DPC tour.
Team Liquid went on to take one point from Team Spirit and by then, they are already at the bottom of the group.
It was the same pattern for the next day. PSG.LGD was looking convincingly strong and Team Liquid couldn’t win both matches against them. They went on to meet against Team Secret where they lost any hopes of making it out of the group stage.
Entity’s DreamLeague run ends tragically again

The European team stays on top of the European scene in 2023 but unfortunately, the team is finding it hard to stay afloat.
The last two DPC seasons ended up with them in 6th place, barely escaping relegation to Division II. We have also seen Entity placing last in DreamLeague Season 19 despite their best effort.
To start off the DreamLeague Season 20, Entity first had to go against the aggressive 9Pandas, who were anything but cute during their deadly matches.
After they suffered two losses against 9Pandas, they had to go against beastcoast who wouldn’t give them chances to catch their breath. They later on managed to take a win from beastcoast.
Going into the second day, they had to face Shopify Rebellion who had the newly-revived Miracle- as their stand-in. Entity successfully took a game from the NA king, but didn’t manage to ride the wave in the second game and ended up with a draw.
Going forward, Entity faced their European frenemy, OG. The first game almost went to Entity as they needed just a few hits to destroy OG’s ancient but OG came in with a last-minute clutch and managed to win the game.
The series ended with OG taking both games from Entity.
The next day, they lost two matches against the two-time Major champion, Gaimin Gladiator. Later on, they went against their previous carry, Pure, in BetBoom Team.
It was a tough fight but they managed to take one game from BetBoom Team and draw the series.
With that, Entity is confirmed to be eliminated from DreamLeague Season 20. They will still face Team Aster today to wrap up their DreamLeague run.
