One of the latest additions to the league, Team Heretics have announced their new roster for the LEC 2023 season.
This year, new faces will compete in the most competitive European League of Legends tournament. Team Heretics and KOI are going to replace Misfits Gaming and Rogue in the upcoming season. It is known that KOI will continue with Rogue’s roster after the merge. However, Team Heretics have built a new roster, keeping Jackspectra and adding four new players to compete in the LEC 2023 season.
Team Heretics LEC 2023
- Shunsuke “Evi” Murase
- Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski
- Lee “Ruby” Sol-min
- Jakob “Jackspektra” Gullvag Kepple
- Mertai “Mersa” Sari
Surprisingly, TH decided to go with the Japanese top laner Evi in the upcoming season. Evi has been one of the most dominant top laners in Japan. He was a part of the Detonation FocusMe roster, which you may remember from international events. However, he never played for a western team in his career. G2 Esports’ experienced and legendary jungler Jankos will be his teammate on the roster. Jankos left G2 after five years and his new home was rumored to be Heretics. The organization made it official by announcing him. The Korean player Ruby is the new mid laner. Ruby’s career started back in 2017. He played for Team BattleComics, Afreeca Freecs, VSG, Rogue Warriors, BOOM Esports, and Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition. This will be his first LEC experience.
Jackspektra has remained with the organization for the upcoming season. The talented player had great performances last year and he played one of the main roles in winning the EU Masters trophy. Mersa will be his support. The Greek player lastly played for Misfits Gaming in the league, before their acquisition by Team Heretics before the LEC 2023 season.
Team Heretics’ roster looks promising and we will see how they will perform on the stage next season!
