LCK Juggernauts T1 continue their impressive start to LCK spring split after defeating NS Redforce 2-1. The match was a close affair, with both teams winning a game before T1 sealed the series with a game three victory. Here is a recap of all three games that took place.
The first game began on a chaotic note, with both teams trading early kills. Bot lane, in particular, was the centre of attention as both junglers repeatedly ganked the lane. However, after a chaotic start, the game’s tempo dropped, and for an extended period, no kills were taken. NS Redforce slowly garnered a gold lead on the back of a few quick kills. This prompted the team to do Baron Nashor, but unfortunately, it was stolen by T1’s jungler Moon “Oner” Hyeon-Joon. This was enough for T1 to establish their own gold lead and secure the Drake soul. Ultimately, it boiled down to a base race which T1 managed to win along with the game.
NS Redforce came guns blazing in game 2 of the series. An early gank in the bot lane allowed Redforce to rack up quick kills, thus opening a gold lead. T1 never managed to get a footing in the game, and NS Redforce ran rampant throughout the map. In the end, NS Redforce took the Drake Soul, which allowed them to finish the game.
Much like game 1 of the series, game 3 was a close contest from the begining. NS Redforce took some early kills, but T1 managed to secure neutral buffs. It was a slugfest in the mid-game with both teams going back and forth; however, T1’s impeccable control over objectives allowed them to secure Drake Soul and Baron Buff subsequently, which ultimately helped them win the game and close the series.
