The South Korean esports team, T1, are on top of the 2022 LCK Spring Split standings, undefeated in six games so far.
T1 decided to change the top side of the map before the 2022 LCK Spring Split and promoted Choi “Zeus” Woo-je to the main roster. The move turned out to be superb as the team won their first six games of the split and they are now on top of the standings.
Besides sending the top laner Kim “Canna” Chang–dong to Nongshim RedForce, they have also parted ways with Moon “Cuzz”Woo-chan, Lee “Clozer” Ju-hyeon, and Park “Teddy” Jin-seong. Unlike last year, they don’t have any subs besides Kim “Asper” Tae-gi. On top of these roster changes, we have also seen more changes in the coaching staff as Son “Stardust” Seok-hee left the team.
2022 LCK Spring Split T1 Roster
- Choi “Zeus” Woo-je
- Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon
- Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok
- Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong
- Ryu “Keria” Min-seok
- Kim “Asper” Tae-gi (Substitute)

Starting with Kwangdong Freecs, T1 secured six wins in a row. Their second victim, Fredit BRION, tried their best and even stole a game from their strong opponents but it wasn’t enough as T1 got away with a 2-1 win to close the first week undefeated. The second week was even easier for them as they upset DRX and Liiv SandBox without dropping a game.
Lastly, T1’s biggest exam was on week three, right after their win over Nongshim RedForce. Despite their fairly-low performance this year, DWG KIA are one of the strongest teams in the world, and T1 secured a 2-1 win over them.
T1 are the only undefeated team in 2022 LCK Spring Split. Gen.G are the nearest with five wins and a single loss. Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G are T1’s upcoming opponents. We will see if one of these teams could end their streak.
