The South Korean esports team T1 have announced their roster that will compete in 2022 LCK splits.
One of the best teams in the League of Legends history, T1 have decided on their LCK 2022 roster. According to the latest announcement, the team decided to keep their core members and change the top laner for the upcoming season.
LCK 2022 T1 Roster
- Choi “Zeus” Woo-je
- Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon
- Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok
- Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong
- Ryu “Keria” Min-seok
Zeus will replace Kim “Canna” Chang-dong, who left the team to join Nongshim RedForce. Zeus used to be T1’s academy top laner and he was also on the main roster as a substitute. He is considered as a young prospect by many authorities and finally, we will have a chance to see him compete on the main roster.
T1’s jungler will be Oner, who has been playing for the team since last year. At first, he was the substitute on the roster behind Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan but earned a spot by proving his worth. Oner’s synergy with Faker has been growing as they play with each other for a year.
Faker, the myth, the mid laner who is the greatest of all time for many fans. Faker extended his contract before the season and he will stick with the team for another year. He played a huge part in T1’s success last year even though many people thought his era was gone.
T1 decided to keep their bottom lane duo. Gumayusi and Keria showed great performances last year. Even though T1 preferred Park “Teddy” Jin-seong in some games, Gumayusi was their main marksman.
On top of their roster, they have also announced their substitute player Kim “Asper” Tae-gi’s arrival from the academy and the legendary coach Bae “Bengi” Seong-won. The 2022 LCK season will probably be competitive considering the new T1 roster.
