SteelSeries, one of the global leaders in esports and gaming peripherals, today announced the SteelSeries Prime Bounty program. To kick things off, the program will focus on tournaments for Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO), Valorant, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Player Unknown Battlegrounds. Eligible tournaments include events in which the grand final is played offline (LAN) and on PC.
By establishing the Prime Bounty program, SteelSeries is creating yet another first in the brand’s storied history by forging a new frontier for gamers. For any professional player that wins an offline tournament in a nominated game and tier, while using a SteelSeries mouse, the company will provide that player with a bounty of $20,000.

Eligible SteelSeries mice include the Prime Pro Series (Wired, Wireless, Prime+, Prime Mini), the ultra-lightweight Aerox Series (including the all-new multi-button Aerox 5 Wireless), Rival Series (3 and 5), and Sensei Ten. The bounty can be won multiple times and is eligible in full for all team members. Additionally, one lucky member of each player’s community will win a SteelSeries prize pack.
SteelSeries will also be announcing an exclusive amateur Prime Bounty program in the near future. The amateur event will enable talented and future superstars to collect a cash prize. Details for eligible tournaments and entry requirements can be found at https://steelseries.com/prime-bounty.
Since 2001, pros have won more prize money with SteelSeries than with any other brand and in 2021 the company launched its first series of brand events. The SteelSeries Prime Cup Series is a collection of tournaments featuring the world’s most popular esports titles, including CS: GO, Rainbow Six, Overwatch, and Apex Legends. Thus far, teams like FaZe Clan, London Spitfire, Red Bull OG, and SpaceStation Gaming competed for over $60,000 USD in prize money.

In addition to helping to expand the esports tournament landscape, SteelSeries introduced the Prime franchise, a pro line of products dedicated to esports and designed with a single goal in mind: victory. In 2022, FaZe Clan were steered to victory in the ESL Pro League Season 15 and PGL Antwerp Major with the Prime mouse. The Prime franchise features a lineup of lightweight, streamlined mice and the Arctis Prime headset that features only the best-in-class technology and innovation. Developed with input from 100+ pros, the Prime franchise is all performance, no extras.
