The North American representatives, Sentinels, secured a 2-1 win over F4Q in the last Group D matchup of Valorant Masters Berlin.
Sentinels were one of the tournament favorites before coming to Valorant Masters Berlin. However, they faced a hard loss against G2 Esports yesterday and guaranteed themselves the second seed. Today, they faced F4Q in the last matchup of Group D. Fortunately, Sentinels won the series in style and boosted their confidence before the playoffs.
Breeze
F4Q made a radical decision and picked Yoru. We do not see the agent usual as other utility agents or duelists are being considered more useful at the moment. F4Q pulled a rabbit out of a hat and won the opening round. However, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo played the eco round almost perfectly. Sentinels made a four-round winning streak. The North American representatives sat behind the wheel and dominated the game after some time. F4Q looked like they did not have enough tools to answer their opponent in the opening map. Sentinels closed out the map in 16 rounds with a score of 13-3.
Split
This time, Sentinels did not let their opponents get a nearly lead in the game. Even though they won the first three rounds, F4Q secured their first rounds after Chae “Bunny” Joon-Hyuk’s incredible effort. Both teams played their hearts out. Even though Sentinels were ahead, F4Q were one step behind them. Bunny made superb plays with Raze in his hands, using his satchels to get into bomb sites. After a nail-biting cat and mouse game, F4Q won the map and forced another map.
Haven
TenZ had a wonderful first-round performance with three kills. Sentinels showed their dominance and roster quality in the last map and found easy kills to close out rounds. The North American team won the first half by securing ten rounds and losing two. Sentinels’ winning streak continued in the second half of action and they closed out the game in 17 rounds. It was the latest game of the Valorant Masters Berlin group stage.
