Misfits Gaming Group has partnered with popular Roblox creators Kreekcraft and Karl Jacobs to launch a new Roblox game studio, Pixel Playground.

As reported by Gamelevate in a previous article, Karl Jacobs recently joined Misfits Gaming Group as a co-owner and Creative Director. Kreekcraft, the world’s largest Roblox streamer, will serve as co-founder and Creative Director of Pixel Playground, while Karl Jacobs will be the studio’s Co-Founder.

Pixel Playground: A New Roblox Game Studio

Pixel Playground is a creator-owned Roblox media and game development studio. Furthermore, Misfits will provide operational support, critical resources, and tools to share their ideas and creations with fans outside of the game.

Working with Karl Jacobs and Kreekcraft, the studio will focus on bringing their ideas to life and delivering innovative games and content for Roblox. In addition, Misfits will collaborate with other Roblox content creators to create new and exciting original game IP.

Excitement for the Future of Pixel Playground

Misfits CEO and founder Ben Spoont expressed his enthusiasm for the collaborative and creator-led approach of Pixel Playground, and he can’t wait to share what the team has been working on.

Kreekcraft expressed his excitement to work with Karl, Ben, and the Pixel Playground team to create fun and innovative games and content together. He said, “It’s been a dream of mine since I was a child to make video games. I never thought I’d end up with the opportunity to help run an entire game studio.”

Moreover, Karl Jacobs stated that he was passionate about the game and thrilled to work with Kreekcraft and Misfits to launch their own Roblox studio. He said, “This is such a cool project and it’s been a dream of mine for a while now. I can’t wait for all the fans to see what we have in store!”

With Roblox’s recent changes to its advertising rules, these games will serve an audience on the platform that advertisers crave.

Building on the Foundations of Misfits Creator Fund

Pixel Playground is yet another project to come out of the recently launched Misfits Creator Fund. Additionally, it strengthens the already existing foundations laid by TubNet and creators like QT Cinderella, Hikaru, AustinShow, and Karl Jacobs.
