Ever wondered why so many players are checking into Rlcraft servers on Minecraft?
The mod pack offers a more real-life experience to the game, creating more tense situations.
But let’s take a look at the mod and what servers we should join in on.
Rlcraft Servers and What They Change
RLcraft stands for Real Life Minecraft and aims to make Minecraft more realistic. The mod was made by Shivaxi based on his original RLCoop mod.
As advertised on the mod description’s page, this is not your dad’s Minecraft, and you are going to die a lot! But that’s where the fun is.
This mod pack mixes and mashes a ton of features and other mods for a more intense experience all together. It boasts over 120 mods that change Minecraft into a really tough survival game. For starters, your health is now based on a limb system rather than overall HP. Limbs can get crippled, causing debuffs, while headshots and torso hits kill you.
Tons of new enemies have been added, including dragons, sea serpents, elementals, and more. Also, thirst bars have been added, meaning players now have to worry about what they drink. Players also need to worry about the temperature and have to level up their experience in order to use higher-tier tiems.
However, no more punching trees because that hurts your hand. Instead, now you dig up gravel, leaves, and grass to make flint tools and go from there.
To go over each new change would be extensive, but in short, these are some of the big identifiers. Overall, it aims to make Minecraft more like real life, if real life had dragons, eldritch beings, and so on!
But what are the best servers for Rlcraft?
Although we can make and run our own Rlcraft servers, we can join custom servers that boast a dedicated community and extra add-ons.
The best website is the aptly named Rlcraft Servers domain. This shows a curated list of servers to join, as well as current players and regions. It also tells us what each server adds via the handy tag system.
One of the most straightforward servers is CraftersLand. A German-based server with a strong focus on Rlcraft mechanics with few changes. One aspect, though, is the land claim system that allows players to claim land on the server and prevent grief from others.
But for those looking for a more chaotic experience, check out Purplerison. This server is one of the more popular ones and focuses on prison life in Minecraft. It has great PVP setups and offers players a unique setup for Rlcraft that fits prison life.
And lastly, for those thinking 120 mods included in Rlcraft were not enough, check out Forbidden Series. This Brazil-hosted server adds a total of 240 moderators to the overall experience, making it both chaotic and crammed with content. Check it out if you want to see even more crazy stuff.
Remember that each one has an installation guide included, as well as server rules you should definitely read before joining!
