Riot Games continue to treat fans with new games.
Riot Forge, a subsidiary of Riot Games, recently showcased two new games that will be released later down the line. Alongside the two upcoming games, Riot Forge has surprise-launched Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem, which are now available to play.
Ruined King
Ruined King was first revealed back in 2019. The single-player RPG was supposed to release early this year; however, the release date was delayed due to some unknown issues. Although the game received a lot of early hype, Riot Games never revealed the updated release date. That said, Riot Forge’s live stream today confirmed the release of Ruined King.
Unfortunately, unlike every other Riot Games title, Ruined King isn’t free-to-play. Interested players can buy the base game from Epic Games Store or Steam for $30.
As mentioned before, Ruined King is a single-player RPG. The game allows players to assume control of various characters and explore the region of Bilgewater and Shadow Isles. The characters available to play include Ahri, Braum, Illaoi, Miss Fortune, Pyke, and Yasuo. Ruined King’s combat mechanics follow a turn-based system, which is not a style many games follow these days.
Hextech Mayhem
Hextech Mayhem is another Riot Forge game that was released today. It is essentially a combination of fast-paced rhythm runner games and the Guitar Hero series. The main goal of Hextech Mayhem is to play as Hexplosives specialist Ziggs and rampage through the Piltover districts. Similar to Ruined King, Hextech Mayhem is available on Epic Games Store and Steam for $9.99.
Apart from the two newly released games, Riot Forge gave fans a sneak peek of two upcoming games. Song of Nunu and CONV/RGENCE will both release in 2022; however, the exact release dates are yet to be revealed.
