Riot Games has announced that OnePlus, an electronics manufacturer, will be the presenting partner for the 2022 Amazon European Masters Summer season.
Through this partnership, the OnePlus logo will be integrated into broadcasts by presenting the top plays from every match. The online tournament begins on August 24, 2022, and will see 28 European teams competing for a prize pool of €150,000.
Riot Games has held many competitions throughout 2022, the most recent being Gamer Girls Night In and Twitch Rivals’ Summer Rumble.
For OnePlus, this isn’t their first foray into the esports world. They have previously teamed up with esports teams such as Suning Gaming, SK Gaming, and Fnatic.
They have also been making waves in mobile gaming recently as they have revealed a new technology for smartphones, The HyperBoost Gaming Engine, to make mobile gaming smoother.
