Racing Prodigy has announced the establishment of the Prodigy Racing League (PRL), which is the world’s first e2Real sports league.
The creators of the racing league aimed to increase accessibility to motorsports by using esports as a stepping stone to on-ground racing.
This levels the playing field, allowing millions of people to pursue their goals. It significantly lowers the financial obstacles to entering a racing career.
David Cook, the CEO of Racing Prodigy, established the groundwork for the organization’s mission.
Prior to that, he organized the first Mazda races, where many of the top racing video game players (sim racers) fought against the greatest real-world racers of the organization in real race cars.
Cook has personally seen sim racers defeating real-world racers. He demonstrated how the skill set learned in virtual racing translates seamlessly into the real world.
This epiphany revealed that it is possible to resolve the issue of lack of accessibility in actual motorsports.
It opened the door for a seismic shift in a field in which the majority of young people just have aspirations.

How does the Racing Prodigy e2Real sports league work?
Participants in the Prodigy Racing League will participate in esports racing competitions across the four renowned video game franchises. It will be over the course of 12 events from June to October.
Fifteen of the greatest performers will receive the “golden ticket of motorsports,” the Prodigy PassTM.
It will enable them to participate in actual Radical SR1 racing cars during Prodigy WeekTM.
The event will take place at Atlanta Motorsports Park, a two-mile circuit created by famed Formula One designer Hermann Tilke, from October 30 to November 1.

Each competitor will get professional coaching on communication, fitness, and racing technique.
After the initial Prodigy Week, Racing Prodigy plans to host a second Prodigy Week in the early months of 2024.
During this event, an additional 35 Prodigy Pass winners will be selected.
It will result in a pool of 50 of the most talented drivers in the world from which PRL teams would pick.
PRL will select individuals to receive a paid contract. These individuals will participate in the first American real-world racing series. It is scheduled to debut in 2024.
