Paris Saint-Germain LGD Gaming (PSG.LGD) reveals new partnership with EPOS, an audio equipment company from Denmark.
PSG.LGD is a professional esports team based in China and was formed as a partnership between PSG Esports and LGD Gaming in April 2018.
Before partnering with PSG, LGD had already established themselves as Dota 2 leaders. PSG.LGD has qualified for The International, the principal global event for the esport title, every year since 2018 and has reached the finals in 2018 and 2021. PSG.LGD has previously partnered with several organizations, such as DouYu, Betway, and now EPOS.
As part of the deal between PSG.LGD and EPOS, EPOS will be the official audio equipment provider for PSG Esports’ DOTA 2 team, PSG.LGD.
“Paris Saint-Germain Esports is delighted to welcome EPOS in the PSG Esports family.”
PSG’s Brand Director, Fabien Allègre.
“Esports is an innovative field in which technology can make the difference. Together with EPOS, we share the same goal to lead innovation for everyone, pro, and non-pro esports players, to reach the best performances and game conditions,” said PSG’s Brand Director, Fabien Allègre.
The team will make use of the H6PRO Closed Acoustic Gaming Headset which, according to EPOS, ‘delivers ultimate performance across the full audio spectrum’ and ‘will provide that extra competitive edge to PSG.LGD’s game.’
Based on pioneering technologies and contemporary design, EPOS designs, manufactures, and sells high-end audio and video solutions for business professionals and gamers.
Established upon the former successful joint venture between audio specialist Sennheiser and the world-leading hearing technology group Demant, EPOS builds on over 115 years of experience working with innovation and sound.
“At EPOS, we very much look forward to working with global, premium brands such as PSG and LGD, adding the best Dota2 team in China–and one of the best teams in the world–to our portfolio.”
Maja Sand-Grimnitz, Director of Global Marketing of EPOS.
“Together we have an exciting journey ahead of us, and EPOS strongly believe that our best-in-class audio products can support the players in their push to finally take home the aegis and achieve the title as the best team in the world at The International in 2022,” commented Maja Sand-Grimnitz, Director of Global Marketing of EPOS.
Through this partnership, EPOS will grow its brand exposure into one of the biggest markets in the world, while PSG.LGD gains access to some of the best-in-class audio products.
