Pinkwater, Ganymede, and Ceres Showcased at gamescom 2025
Owlcat Games, the studio behind Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, has joined forces with Alcon Interactive Group to unveil new environments for the upcoming sci-fi action RPG The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. The game is based on the award-winning TV series The Expanse, available on Blu-ray and streaming via Amazon Prime Video.
The latest video highlights several locations players will explore, including the industrial stronghold of Pinkwater, the fragile farming systems of Ganymede, and the crowded halls of Ceres Station.
“Every place in The Expanse tells a story,” said Alexander Mishulin, Creative Director at Owlcat Games. “When we build places like Ganymede or Ceres, it’s not just about authenticity. It’s about the struggles and hopes of the people living there. We want players to feel the tension of survival in every step they take.”
Set in a future where humanity has colonized the solar system, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn expands on the story of the beloved show. Players take on the role of a Pinkwater Security mercenary during the chaos of Eros Station’s lockdown. From there, they must gather a crew, command a ship, and carve their own destiny in a fractured solar system.
