Twitter recently announced that there were more than 2.4 Billion Tweets about gaming in 2021, breaking records for all prior years.

Twitter continues to serve as the go-to social media platform for gamers, streamers, teams, game publishers, and gaming media. According to Twitter, the 4th quarter of 2021 was the biggest quarter for gaming conversation ever. Besides all the online tournaments (along with some LAN events), topics of conversation included the introduction of new games and the advances of NFTs in the gaming ecosystem.
