ORDER, an Australian esports organization, reveals its partnership with The Man Cave, a preventative mental health organization.
ORDER is one of the leading esports organizations in Australia that are building teams of pro gamers, content creators, and creatives. They hope to disrupt social norms and shape the future of youth and pop culture and help pioneer a new age of gaming content. ORDER is no stranger to partnerships and is currently in partnership with Logitech, Alienware, Optus, Stuff, and now The Man Cave.
Through their partnership with The Man Cave, the two organizations can now collaborate and offer a range of activations, such as physical and emotional wellbeing workshops. In addition, ORDER will help organize and host a Twitch community that combines gaming with resources to help and educate young men on the importance of mental health.
“There’s no time like the present to start the conversation about mental and physical wellbeing and we have been looking for ways to enrich our teams and our organization as a whole.”
Marc Edwards, CEO of ORDER.
“We are the first professional esports team in Australia to implement a program that will not only look at how our teams best work together – high-performance culture – but individual mental wellbeing, including nutrition and fitness, financial education, and involving parents so they fully understand the players’ career paths and how best to support their child.”
The Man Cave, a registered Australian charity, has worked with more than 20,000 young men and uses evidence-based workshops and expert facilitation programs to encourage positive masculinity and foster critical emotional and social skills they need to flourish.
“We work with thousands of young men every year, and we know how important gaming and online communities are for them.”
Al Green, Head of Community at The Man Cave.
“The Man Cave is an organization that chooses to see the greatness in the young men we work with, and we’re really excited to be partnering with ORDER to ensure that all young people can have enjoyable and meaningful gaming and online experiences.”
This is an incredible and an Australian-first initiative that will help promote mental health and well-being to gamers, which is necessary in today’s society.
