Australian esports organization ORDER announces a partnership with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT).
ORDER is one of the premiere esports organizations in Australia. Since its inception, they have established competitive teams in popular esports titles such as League of Legends, VALORANT, and Fortnite, to name a few. The partnership between RMIT and ORDER is the sixth for the esports organization. They have previously partnered with major brands such as Optus, Alienware, The Man Cave, and Logitech.
Through the partnership between ORDER and RMIT, the two organizations will collaborate on RMIT Future Series, a collegiate esports circuit that will offer free-to-play tournaments across various titles.
“We are proud to be partnering with RMIT, who have long led the way in forward thinking and innovation.”
Marc Edwards, CEO of ORDER.
“Through this partnership, we have a strong opportunity to showcase new pathways and opportunities while assisting RMIT to connect with prospective students across the channels they are most familiar with,” commented Marc Edwards, CEO of ORDER.
Within the RMIT community Discord server, competitors can vote for the games featured in the Future Series. Some of these titles will include Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Rocket League. Once the titles have been decided, RMIT Future Series will begin on August 14 and end on October 6.
RMIT is no stranger to esports, as the University has an active esports community with over 3,000 members. The University also has dedicated facilities and support programs and has competed against regional universities.
The partnership between ORDER and RMIT is an exciting step to expand on collegiate esports initiatives and activities in Australia.
