Players looking for a fresh blend of simulation gameplay and psychological horror will soon have the chance to step aboard Only Humans On Board. Developed by NewGen Studio and published by PG Publishing, the upcoming title will participate in Steam Next Fest starting June 15, offering a free playable demo on Steam.
A Train Vendor’s Job Takes a Terrifying Turn
At first glance, Only Humans On Board appears to be a routine job simulator. Players take on the role of a train vendor responsible for purchasing supplies, managing a snack cart, serving passengers, and verifying identification documents.
However, not every passenger is who they claim to be!
Hidden among the train’s travelers are mysterious beings disguising themselves as humans. Players must carefully inspect IDs, spot inconsistencies, and investigate suspicious behavior. Missing a critical discrepancy can have dangerous consequences and dramatically alter the outcome of a shift.
Progression, Upgrades, and Growing Threats
As players successfully navigate their duties and identify hidden threats, they unlock new licenses that expand gameplay opportunities. These upgrades grant access to additional products, specialized tools, weapons, and larger trains filled with more passengers and potential dangers.
The combination of business management, observation-based gameplay, and horror elements creates a tense experience where every interaction could reveal a new mystery.
